About TBLC

Founded in 2017, the Tennessee Business Leadership Council (TBLC) is a 501(c)(6) nonprofit, nonpartisan organization that seeks to strengthen Tennessee's business environment through thoughtful collaboration, research and analysis, and ideation. TBLC is comprised of select business leaders representing a broad cross-section of industries from across the state including some of Tennessee’s most established and notable employers.

To support policies and initiatives that help make Tennessee the best state in the country to do business and improve economic opportunity for all Tennesseans.

Collaboration
Facilitate engagement and information sharing for business leaders who share a common goal of making Tennessee a thriving center for business opportunity.
Research & Analysis
Study and analyze issues impacting the business community and state, working in conjunction with reputable research partners.
Ideation
Offer unbiased, data-driven ideas to help solve some of the most important issues confronting our state.
